Black Jack Essential Basics – Part One
The general premise of the game is to be handed cards totaling up to twenty one. Each competitor is given two cards. When a black jack player is dealt a 9 or less and an Ace they have been handed a soft hand. When the blackjack player receives no Ace it is called as a hard hand. As soon as the cards have been handed to every player at the table, which includes the dealer, every gambler is given the opportunity to make 1 of six actions:
Taking another card (Hit): When a gambler says "hit me" the dealer will give him another card, if the adding of that card makes the value of the hand to exceed twenty one the blackjack player will have lost and that is the end of the game, if the card pushes the total to 21 the black jack player wins and if the value of the hand has not yet achieved twenty-one they are still in the game.
Keeping the hand you have been dealt: If a player is happy with the hand they’ll stay. As soon as this has happened the croupier will display his/her hand and the player who has gotten 21 or the closet to 21 will win.
Doubling Down: A gambler might ask to double down which increases the bet by one hundred percent they have made. Once you have taken this action you can only receive one additional card. The details of doubling down are often out lined by the table or betting house game rules so before wagering make certain you are comfortable with the casino established rules. If you are gambling at a net betting house this is normally very easy.
