I have enjoyed millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
